Writing on billboard: Firm to be fired for killing trees in Mumbai

Mumbai: The BMC has initiated the process of revoking the hoarding licence of a contractor who cut three trees and poisoned four others in Worli so that passers-by get a clear view of the board. Activists allege that the firm had damaged around 20 trees, but the civic body said only seven were affected.
