V Citizens Action Network (VCAN) is a not for profit and non-political organization, set up by a few public-spirited citizens of Mumbai to address issues of public concern through effective engagement channels like a responsive web portal, live talk shows, social networks and action impacted programmes.

V Citizens Action Network (VCAN) is registered under The Bombay Public Trust Act 1950: REG NO E-2564 Mumbai

All donations to the Trust are eligible for deduction under section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
SEC 80G  : AABTV1353LF20214 – Valid from AY 2022-23 to AY 2026-27 Vide Order dated 31st May 2021


All Donors must be Indian Citizens, Companies incorporated in India under Indian Company Law, Public Trusts registered in India, or Societies registered in India.

All Donation must be only in Indian Rupees.

Ans: In case of online donation, the receipts are sent at the registered email id, after every successful transaction.
For Cheque / DD, the receipts are sent by email, post or hand delivery as the case may be.
