Water stock dips to 6.1%, Vaitarna hits rock bottom

Mumbai: The combined water stock in the seven lakes that serve the city dipped to 6.1% of the total capacity as the wait for rains continued on Tuesday. Municipal officials said there was no need to panic as the lakes held enough, along with reserve stocks, to last all of next month.
