All suburban railway stations to have own police team from September

Mumbai: All suburban railway stations will have their own police in-charge and a tiny army of constables to handle any eventuality from next month, in a new strategy by the railway police commissioner. They will be responsible for everything at that station and cannot be put on bandobast or other duties. This could directly impact women’s security and increase response time to accidents.
