Re-audit lists six more bridges in suburbs as dangerous, total now 17

Mumbai: A Re-audit of bridges undertaken in the wake of the Himalaya Bridge collapse at CSMT has reported that 17 road-over bridges (ROB) and foot-over bridges (FOB) in the suburbs are in ‘dangerous’ condition and need to be demolished. An earlier audit had listed 11 of them for dismantling. A BMC official refused to share the names of the additional six bridges suggested for demolition.
