Police impose Rs 1.34 cr in fines, seize 23,554 vehicles

Since March 22, police in Maharashtra have registered 820 cases against drivers accused of flouting transport violations and prohibitory orders, imposing fines worthe Rs 1.34 crore on them, according to sources. The police have also seized 23,554 vehicles, they said.
