‘Phone booths’ for faster, safer Covid-19 testing

Taking a leaf out of South Korea’s model of testing, the BMC has started ‘phone booth’ testing for Covid-19. The phone booths, one which has been placed at Kasturba Hosptial, will also be installed at KEM Hospital and at SevenHills Hospital. The booth will not only save time but also protect health care workers who collect swabs from being infected by suspected patients.
