Operation khataara: BMC begins removing abandoned vehicles from streets

BMC sends towing vans to seize dead vehicles from R-South Ward in Kandivali (East), where Operation Khataara kicked off.

The wheels are slowly but surely turning as far as Operation Khataara is concerned. Mumbaikars’ relentless campaign against abandoned vehicles seems to have awakened slumbering authorities with BMC vans towing away six vehicles from Kandivali (East), the ward where Operation Khataara kicked off, yesterday morning.
