Passengers will be able to get all the information about porters by scanning the code, which will be printed on cards, with their mobile phones.
Train travellers will soon be able to verify the authenticity of licenced porters at CSMT, Dadar, Thane, Kalyan and Lokmanya Tilak Terminus. The Central Railway has decided to allot individual QR codes to all porters deployed at these stations.
