New vehicle test track opens at Tardeo RTO
Mumbai: Fitness tests for commercial vehicles in the island city have restarted at Tardeo RTO, which has set up a 250-metre test track on its premises as per a Bombay high court directive.
A senior official said, “We stopped tests being temporarily conducted in Airoli for taxis and other commercial vehicles registered in Mumbai. From July 1, we will discontinue tests at Nerul RTO. Thereafter, all tests will be carried out at Tardeo RTO.”
