Mumbai police chalk out novel ideas for safe distance between shoppers

City police came up with innovative ideas on Wednesday to prevent overcrowding of publish spaces by Mumbaikars rushing out to stock up on essential items such as groceries,vegetables and medicines. Two of the ideas were successfully implemented. One,Marking of square or round outlines with chalk outside shotps and in vegetable markets for shoppers to stand in at a distance from each other and avoid getting infected while moving in queues. Two,in the western suburbs,police have pasted notices outside grocery stores asking customers to jot down lists of essential items with their names,addresses and phone numbers and hand them over to the shopkeepers without crowding shops.
