Maharashtra: Inter-city AC electric bus to hit state highways, first for nation

Mumbai: The  country’s first inter-city electric air-conditioned bus was launched at the Mumbai Central ST bus depot on Thursday. Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray launched the bus, days before the code of conduct for the impending assembly  polls kicks in. The a 43-seater buses, called ‘Shivai’, will be operated by the state transport body, MSRTC.
