Ganpati Utsav: Brace for chaos on Currey Road, Chinchpokli and Elephinstone bridges as BMC imposes 16-ton weight restriction

Crowd control will be a nightmare as no more than 200 people together will be allowed to cross any of the three bridges – Currey Road, Chinchpokli or Elphinstone.

Weight restrictions on three ageing bridges in central Mumbai during the Ganpati festival will trigger unprecedented vehicular and pedestrian chaos this season.
