No flooding between Sion and Kurla this rainy season

Once this section, which is one of the worst affected on the Central line, is raised, there will ne no disruption of services even if it rains 100 mm in 24 hours. Currently, 30mm of rain submerges the tracks here.

The Central Railway will lift tracks between Kurla and Sion by four to six inches to prevent flooding during rains
