First rake of AC local likeyly to ply next month between Thane-Vashi and Thane-Panvel

If all goes well, Central Railway (CR) commuters can finally avail of an air-conditioned local by December end. In 2016, Suresh Prabhu, who was railway minister at the time, had allotted an AC rake for the CR, but the train had to be designated to Western Railway because it exceeded the permissible height on the CR’s route.
