No Covid certificate needed in apparently non-Covid deaths

Bringing relief to the families of those who have died of causes apparently other than Covid-19, the BMC has clarified that no Covid certificate is required to get a death certificate. Acting on complaints about private doctors not issuing death certificates without a Covid test of the deceased, the civic body has issued fresh guidelines.
