Byculla ROB to be revamped, new bridge to be built
The 98-year-old Byculla bridge over the Central Railway track will be revamped and a new cable-stayed bridge will be constructed parallel to it. The British-ear structure is among 11 road over bridges (ROBs) that have been identified as dangerous in a survey conducted by IIT Bombay after the Andheri-Gokhale bridge collapse.
