Dilapidated British-era road bridges over train tracks across the city, which were set to be demolished to make way for new bridges, are now likely be spared/ Over a century old and made of stone, these bridges will instead be spruced up and transformed into walkways, and new bridges for vehicles will be built over them. The new bridges will be of the cable-stayed variety, Which require fewer pillars and thus take up less space.
