BMC to keep gardens open till 10pm in Mumbai

Mumbai: The BMC has decided to keep all its open spaces in the city open to for public till 10pm.
According to an order passed by the civic body on Tuesday, the gardens will be kept open from 6am-10pm. The gardens used to be shut in the afternoon for maintenance, which will not be done now. Maintenance work will be carried out in a phased manner, while the garden is kept open. Currently, public gardens are open from 6am-noon and 3pm-9pm.
