BMC to give 50% waiver on public parking lots pass
Scheme valid for only those who don’t have parking in their buildings and live within 500 mt of a public parking lot.
To encourage people to use public parking lots (PPL), the BMC has decided to give 50 per cent discount on monthly pass for those living within 500 mt radius of a PPL and who don’t have parking facility in their buildings. The decision was taken after protests over the civic body’s policy to levy exorbitant fines for parking on the roads around PPLs.
