BMC fails to launch tracking service that will allow Mumbaikars to report potholes

Company that developed Voice of Citizen is offering it for free, but BMC is yet to take up the offer.

The BMC has failed to launch a website and an app that will allow Mumbaikars to report potholes on city roads. Voice of Citizen was launched in Website-only from in 2011 but was shut down in 2015 despite its popularity with users. The BMC later issued an app called MCGM 24×7 to allow residents to geo-tag potholes, but it is not considered user-friendly.
