55 AC buses on 12 new routes, 2 more planned only for women

Mumbai: The BEST received 30 more AC Mini buses in its fleet on Monday, taking the total number of new buses to 55. BEST also announced that the new AC buses were being operated on 12 special routes, with minimum fare of Rs 6. BEST officials said they will soon launch two new Tejaswini routes – women-exclusive buses ferrying office-goers during pick hours.
