WR, CR send proposals to run extra 15-car locals

On Tuesday, the Western Railway (WR) and the Central Railway (CR) sent fresh proposals to run more 15-car local trains to the Railway Board under the safety fund. Theses two separate proposals, worth Rs 970 crore, relate to the development of infrastructure to run additional 15-coach train services on Mumbai’s suburban network.
