Students get another day for FYJC admission formalities

As heavy rain crippled transport on Tuesday, the education department yet again extended the deadline for First Year Junior College admissions until Wednesday evening.
Meanwhile, though the department did not announce a holiday for schools and colleges, several institutes did so on their own and attendance was low at ones which remained open. FYJC aspirants who have been allotted a seat in the first merit list but are yet to confirm their admissions can do so until 5pm on Wednesday.
