Road outside Bombay Hospital to be two-way
The next time you need to get to Bombay Hospital avenue from MG Road, you may not need to make a detour of over 600 metre. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) is widening the road between MG Road and Vithaldas Thackersey Marg and making it two-way, to ensure that citizens do no have to take a circuitous route, especially during emergency cases.
“We are widening the road and making it two-way. The road should be open to public by mid-June,” said Kiran Dighavkar, assistant municipal commissioner of A Ward under whose jurisdiction the area falls.
