They have a quick fix for potholes
They fill craters with debris discarded from construction sites and urge citizens to do the same to bring down pothole casualties.
A hammer, a shovel, a scooter and a sack of construction debris are all Muhammad Irfan Machiwala and Mustaq Ansari need in the fight against the city’s ever-growing potholes. The Mahim residents devote 20-25 hours a week to fill craters in Mahim, Bandra and Dharavi with debris abandoned by construction sites on roadsides.
