Private buses fleecing you? Just call for help

After the state government decided to crack the whip on private bus operators overcharging passengers during peak seasons, the transport department launched a dedicated helpline for commuters on Sunday, to register complaints against errant operators.

The transport department has issued a helpline number – 022 62426666 – on which passengers can call and register their complaints against operators for the overcharging.

The details of the bus operators can also be registered on transportcomplaints.mahaonline.gov.in.

Complaints can also be registered on the regional transport office (RTO) helpline number 1800220110.
