Mumbai to get 49 more locals by March 2020

Mumbaikars’ local train journey is set to get cooler as the Railway Board has approved manufacture of 49 air-conditioned (AC) locals in the financial year 2019-20 for the suburban network. Of the 42 trains, 35 will be semi-air-conditioned rakes comprising six AC and six non-AC coaches.
