How to get a Hoarding License?
Permission for display of advertisement hoardings by means of surface or structure erected on ground or any portion of a roof of a building or on / above the parapet, with characters, letters or illustrations applied thereto and displayed in any manner, for purpose of advertisement or giving information is very much an essential part of business today. The provision relating to such display of advertisements are covered under and regulated by section 328 and section 328A of the Mumbai Municipal Corporation Act 1888

- The License Department of the MCGM issues a Hoarding License
How to Apply for a Hoarding License?
- Visit the Citizen Facilitation Center (CFC) nearest to your establishment
- Submit the duly completed and signed application form, along with required documents and fees at the CFC.
What happens at the CFC and the License Department?
- The application is sent from the CFC to the License Department
- As a further process the application is assigned to and processed by the Department Head (Sr. Inspector License) of the License Department at the concerned Ward.
- After site inspection and approval of the application, the scheduled fee is collected and the License is issued to the applicant.
The following are the different documents required to obtain a Hoarding Licence and other related formalities:
