Water is essential and a Right to Life but the same Water when unsafe, will take away Life. With the onset of Monsoon, Mumbai Citizens are prone to water-borne diseases due to water contamination. It is a huge challenge for MCGM to ensure delivery of safe drinking water. As a proactive measure, MCGM has speedily increased the number of “water sampling points” to check water contamination, giving special attention to slum areas.
