Underground bins: Utility cables tie BMC in knots

Mumbai: The BMC plan to install inderground garbage bins at four south Mumbai locations has run into trouble with several utility cables making the task difficult. A few days ago, the BMC solid waste management department started excavation works for the installation of garbage bins. Only, wherever it dug the ground, the numerous cables running under the surface kept coming in the way.
