Second Metro corridor in South Mumbai to cost Rs 571 crore/ km
The project cost of a second Metro corridor in south Mumbai, connecting Wadala with CST, will be around Rs 571 crore per km, according to Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA). This is probably going to be the second-costliest Metro corridor being built in Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), and is going to be partially above the ground and partially underground.
The costliest Metro corridor in MMR is the fully underground Metro corridor between Colaba-Bandra-Seepz being built at Rs 689 crore per km, according to earlier estimates.
