The Regional Passport Office in Mumbai has opened a control room at its Bandra (east) office and will have dedicated phone lines — 022-26520016/17 and email id rpo.mumbai@mea.gov.in. Applicants are advised not to visit any PSK, POPSK and passport office. RPO has enhanced scheduling appointment option to multiple times from the current three. Applicants can schedule appointments to next 90 calendar days, which was earlier five working days.
