Railways will have only two helplines from January 1

Mumbai: The Railways on Tuesday announced that instead of having multiple helplines, there will now be just two helplines – 139 and 182 – from January 1, 2020.

Passengers can also use the services of Rail Madaf, an Indian Railway complaint and suggestion portal, said CR chief spokesperson, Shivaji Sutar. He said ‘139’ will have many other helplines merged into it.
