Railings to stop Jaywalking on Marine Drive

After a spate of accidents, iron railings to be installed on the divider along the 3.6-km promenade.

People will no longer be able to hop across from one side of Marine Drive to the other as the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) will be installing railings along the entire stretch of the median on Marine Drive. The railings on the iconic promenade have been approved by the Mumbai Heritage Conservation Committee.
