Pedestrains accounts for 51% of road fatalities
Study says WEH and EEH are the top two high-risk locations for fatal accidents.
Emphasising the need to improve footpaths and other road infrastructure, a study has found that pedestrians account for about 51% of the 475 people who died in accidents on road in 2018. It is followed by motorcyclists and their pillion riders, who constitute another 41% of these fatalities.
