Operation Khataara: Hawkers make clunkers home

Residents and shopkeepers of Ballard Estate complain that hawkers are using abandoned vehicles to cook food, store their belongings.

As if dead cars dumped on their streets were not a nuisance enough, residents, shopkeepers and owners of other business establishments in Ballard Estate have to also put up with the menace of hawkers using the clunkers to store their belongings and cook food, turning the area filthier in the process.
