New flyover at Kora Kendra junction to help ease traffic in Mumbai’s Borivli
Motorists can soon expect better east-west connectivity along one of the busiest stretches in Borivli (West). The work on the proposed ₹121-crore Kora Kendra flyover, which has been planned to decongest the area around the Borivli station, is likely to start in October.
The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has planned to construct the flyover, which will connect to the existing FM Cariappa flyover, in Borivli (West). Once complete, motorists will get a direct connectivity to Link Road via the Kora Kendra flyover after descending from the FM Cariappa flyover.
