Mumbai: Mahalaxmi ridge likely to be for walkers once new ROBs are ready
BMC is exploring a plan to reserve the existing road over-bridge (ROB) at Mahalaxmi station for pedestrians after two new links for motorists are constructed, hopefully within three years. BMC floated tenders for the new bridges and is in the final stages of shortlisting constractors. An Official said that the existing ROB, though almost 100 years old, is in a good condition and is used by tourist, especially those from abroad, to get a view of the dhobi ghaat.
