Mumbai: Lake levels dip, call likely on water cuts
Mumbai: With levels of the seven lakes that supply potable water to Mumbai at nearly 77% as compared to 93% last year on the corresponding day, the civic body is likely to take a call on executing water cuts in the city. In 2016 too, lake levels were at 90% at this time. A fortnight ago, civic officals had hinted at rationing water supply after Diwali to ensure that the stock lasts up to next monsoon.
