MMRDA to install signages and lane marking on Western Express Highway and Bandra-Kurla Complex
In order to direct motorists better, the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has decided to have new signages and lane markings on the Western Express Highway (WEH) and Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC).
The MMRDA also plans to re-engineer several junctions in WEH to ensure a smooth and hassle-free commute for motorists during peak hours. RA Rajeev, Metropolitan Commissioner, MMRDA said, “We expect that installation of signages and lane markings will make the traffic movement smooth considering motorists will be better informed about their location, and where and when they have to take a turn towards their destination.”
