Major markets in Mumbai go for complete shutdown
The city is moving towards a partial lockdown as several big markets such as the Mangaldas cloth market, 150-year old MJ textile market, Bhuleshwar jewellery market, Mahatma Gandhi market and a market for vehicle spare parts at Don Taki near JJ hospital have decided to shut completely for the next few days. The cloth market in Kamathipura and the metal market at Khetwadi have reduced working time by two-three hours.
