Should there be less parking for visitors of housing societies?

Urban Development Department plans to reduce parking spaces kept for visitors from 25% to 5%.

The State Urban Development Department is planning to amend the Development Control Regulations (DCR) to reduce parking space for visitors to housing societies in the city from 25 per cent (of total parking space) to just five per cent.

The department has also called for suggestions and objections to the proposal.
