Ganpati mandal fined for digging on road
Each of the seven holes fined at Rs 2,000: pandal to be dismantled in 48 hrs: BMC.
The BMC’s G (South) ward issued a notice to MahaPrabhadevi Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal at Prabhadevi Chowk for erecting a pandal without taking requisite permission and digging into a road at seven spots, instructing them to cough up a fine of Rs 14000 at a public welfare centre. The notice issued on August 17 states that the holes will be fined at Rs 2000 each, and the mandal must dismantle the pandal within 48 hours.
