Don’t issue driving licence to those not staying, taking lessons in your state: Centre
New Delhi: The Centre has asked states to stop issuing driving licences to people who have neither resided in the state concerned nor attended classes in a driving school in its jurisdiction,. It has also advised state transport departments to ensure the correctness of age, address and other mandatory conditions while issuing licences.
