Builder cannot delay transfer of society after OC is given: Bombay HC
Mumbai: Once occupation certificate (OC)is granted and possession is handed over to flat purchasers there is no reason for a builder to delay conveyance, the Bombay high court has ruled. A division bench of justices Indrajit Mahanty and Anant Badar was hearing a petition filed by the developer of Mayfair Kumkum building at Andheri West challenging a 2018 order of the competent authority granting a certificate of deemed conveyance to the society.
