BMC to survey pedesrian, traffic situation at CSMT after FOB crash
Mumbai: More than a month after the Himalaya foot over bridge outside CSMT crashed, killing seven, the BMC has instructed its roads and traffic department to carry out a survey of the area around the historic railway terminus to ascertain the current situation of vehicular and pedestrian movement.
Civic officials said this is also being done to check for any significant change in pedestrian and vehicular traffic since the bridge’s construction three decades ago.
