BMC revised protocol for contact tracing

The BMC has issued fresh guidelines on contact tracing of people who were in touch with or in close proximity to coronavirus patients.

According to the new policy, those who were in contact with a patient two days before they turned symptomatic will be screened. Those who were in contact with the patient in the two weeks after they turned symptomatic will also be considered high risk and sent for screening.
