AC local for Central Railway: New train to arrive in Mumbai from Chennai workshop within a fortnight

A brand-new AC local for the Central Railway’s (CR) Mumbai suburban network has been rolled out of the integral Coach Factory’s Chennai workshop. It is slated to reach Mumbai within a fortnight. This will hopefully end the CR commuters’ two-year wait for an AC local, a comfort the Western Railway (WR) commuters have been enjoying since December 2017.
