2 Mumbai schoolkids turn e-waste into gold, help educate 17,000 slum children
What started as an idea for a competition has turned into a year-long campaign to safely dispose electronic waste and help the environment for two students from a school in Goregaon. In the past two months, Soorya Balasubramanian and Trisha Bhattacharya from Vibgyor High School have collected over 380kg of e-waste from schools and community and donated it to an non-profit organization and helped educate over 17,ooo slum children.
